Parish Council Accounts
The financial year (FY) runs from 1st April – 31st March annually.
The Parish Clerk, who is also the Responsible Finance Officer (RFO), runs the accounts in accordance with the current Parish Council Financial Regulations.
All expenditures are itemised each month in the monthly minutes as they occur. All expenditures are required to be authorised by the Parish Council prior to payment, with the exception of regular payments which may be paid in advance of authorisation, with the regular payment authorised at the next monthly meeting.
The following documents are to be published annually on the website to comply with the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015, the Local Audit (Smaller Authorities) Regulations 2015 and the Transparency Code for Smaller Authorities:
