Our site gives general Village Information, an introduction to some of our businesses and our Village Hall, and information on the Parish Council.
There is also news of upcoming events and activities in the village.
Communication
Communication throughout the village is by various means.
The Parish Council email out important information and reminders – to be added to this email list please contact the clerk@greateaston-pc.gov.uk and your details will be added so you can receive future emails. For the agenda and minutes from previous meetings please see the meetings page on this site or click here for 2026. Agendas and minutes are also posted on the village notice board. The Parish Council cannot conduct business via social media.
Great Easton Matters is an independent village newsletter published quarterly and delivered to every household in the village. Please email greateastonmatters@yahoo.com if you have any questions or have information to publish in the newsletter. A digital version on the newsletter is available the the Great Easton Matters Facebook page.
Great Easton Village Hall is regularly used by groups and societies from Great Easton and beyond, and it caters for parties and private events, including the Final Friday Social. There is a Facebook group that shows what’s happening and when in the hall. If you are interested in supporting this fantastic space or just want to know what’s going on, please feel free to join the group. All approved members of the group can upload posts about anything to do with the village hall and it is hoped that people will be engaged and get involved. To find the group just go to your Facebook page and search for Great Easton Village Hall Group ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/greateastonvillagehall).
Our Neighbourhood Plan – The Neighbourhood Plan (NP) was completed in January 2018 and now forms part of the Local Plan for Harborough District Council.
